In 2016 I traveled to Damman, Saudi Arabia to give a one week workshop to high school girls through the SARSI program run by the Center for Excellence in Education. Here are the slides. Note that Day 4 went too fast.

I recommend using parachute cord for the braids and small balls and white board markers for drawing on spheres; the polyognal cutouts may still be available from the Illinois Geometry Lab. Email me if you want instructions for making the double torus "plushies" from day 3.
